Course description
Das Training „Partizipative Wissenschaftskommunikation“ legt den Schwerpunkt auf die Förderung eines konstruktiven Dialogs zwischen Forschung, Gesellschaft und Politik.
In der modernen Wissenschaftskommunikation treffen oft neue wissenschaftliche Erkenntnisse, gesellschaftliche Meinungen und politische Prioritäten aufeinander. Partizipative Wissenschaftskommunikation kann dazu beitragen, den Austausch zwischen den vielfältigen beteiligten Akteur:innen und Perspektiven erfolgreich zu gestalten und ein wechselseitiges Lernen und die gemeinsame Ko-Produktion von Wissen zu ermöglichen.
Die Schulung richtet sich an Wissenschaftler:innen, die bereits erste Erfahrungen in der Wissenschaftskommunikation gemacht haben und partizipative Methoden kennenlernen und anwenden wollen. Es soll die Teilnehmer:innen befähigen, sich im Dschungel der Theorien und Buzzwords rund um das Thema Partizipation zu orientieren. Darüber hinaus lernen sie die Einsatzmöglichkeiten partizipativer Formate kennen und erarbeiten konkrete Ansätze für partizipative Wissenschaftskommunikation im eigenen Forschungsfeld.

In modern science communication, new scientific findings, social opinions and political priorities often come together. This course focuses on fostering constructive dialogue between research, society, and politics by facilitating exchanges among the various actors and perspectives involved. It aims to promote mutual learning and the collaborative co-production of knowledge.
This training is designed for scientists who have some experience in science communication and wish to explore and apply participatory methods. It aims to help participants navigate the complexities of theories and buzzwords related to participation. Additionally, participants will learn about various participatory formats and develop practical approaches for implementing participatory science communication within their own research areas.
