Course description
This 2.5-day intensive course is designed for researchers from all disciplines and career stages at Swiss universities and universities of applied sciences. Participants gain a solid understanding of the Swiss political system and learn when, where, and how researchers can effectively engage in political processes. The programme combines theoretical input with hands-on training, allowing participants to immediately practice and deepen their knowledge. They learn to identify key stakeholders in parliament and administration, contextualize their contributions within political debates, assess their public impact, and protect themselves from being instrumentalized. The course emphasizes the essentials while fostering intensive exchange on the themes of science and politics and researchers’ participation in political and public discourse.
